Rig Mod

Rig Mod is a rigging mod for Minecraft. Unlike the hack clients on this site, Rig Mod isn't about PvP — it's about giving animators, YouTubers and cinematic creators full control over the player model's bones and joints.

What Rig Mod does

Rig Mod exposes the underlying skeleton of the player model — head, torso, arms, legs, individual joint rotations — as a controllable rig. You can pose your character, keyframe animations, and export cinematic shots that would be impossible in vanilla. It's the tool a lot of Minecraft short-film creators use to get expressive, non-stick-figure motion.

Rig Mod features

Full bone control for the player model, mobs and item entities.

Keyframe animation with in-world timeline scrubbing.

Camera rig — smooth path animations, focus pulls, dolly moves.

Pose library — save and re-apply poses across scenes.

Export to short-form video via the client's built-in recorder.

Who Rig Mod is for

Animators, YouTubers, machinima directors, and anyone building trailers or cinematics in Minecraft. It's the exact opposite of a killaura mod — instead of automating combat, it hands you fine-grained artistic control the vanilla game deliberately hides.

Installing Rig Mod

Install Fabric Loader for your Minecraft version, drop Rig Mod's .jar in .minecraft/mods, and launch the Fabric profile. Open the rigging UI from the mod's key binding (configurable in Controls).

Rig Mod vs Blockbench

Blockbench is an external editor for building models and animations you then import into Minecraft. Rig Mod is an in-game rigging system for posing what's already there. Serious creators use both — Blockbench for custom models, Rig Mod for cinematic posing of the vanilla player.
